The Israeli occupation police on Thursday night violently attacked Palestinian participants in a Ramadan evening gathering held in Bab al-Amud area of east Jerusalem.
According to a Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reporter Israeli policemen viciously attacked the Palestinian citizens attending the Ramadan evening beating them with batons and showering them with tear gas.
Local sources reported that several citizens suffered injuries in the wanton police attack.
Consequently the police brutality provoked clashes with Palestinian youths in the area.
