Israeli police ban Jerusalmite from accessing al-Aqsa for 7 days

Saturday 21-April-2018

Israeli police on Saturday evening banned a Jerusalemite worker Raed Zeghair from accessing al-Aqsa Mosque for 7 days within the Israeli policy of targeting the Islamic Endowment Department’s employees at the holy site.

Zeghair said that Israeli police arrested him while working at the holy site and transferred him to al-Qesheleh investigation center in the Old City of Occupied Jerusalem. Initially the police asked to prevent him from entering the holy shrine for 15 days but he refused to sign decision he pointed out.

He said that he was shocked to know that the ban of entry order was placed against him simply because he did not obey the police who asked him not to return a garbage container to its place near the mosque.
