Tuesday 23-January-2018

Israeli police on Tuesday handed Sheikh Najeh Bkairat Head of Islamic education and rehabilitation at al-Aqsa Mosque a travel ban order stipulating depriving him of travel outside Palestine for a month until February 22.

The PIC reporter said that Israeli intelligence apparatus handed Sheikh Bkairat the travel ban order in al-Maskobiya detention center in which he was summonsed for questioning after they had raided his home in Occupied Jerusalem.

The travel ban which was signed by Israeli Interior Minister Aryeh Deri claimed that Bkairat’s travel would constitute a threat to the security of Israel for his involvement in Hamas Movement activities.

The ban of travel notice also states that he can appeal the decision within 14 days and that it might be extended to three months.
