Israeli authorities on Friday evening released a Palestinian female journalist and activist Sabrin Diyab from 1948 Occupied Palestine on bail. She was also banned from accessing al-Aqsa Mosque and the Old City in Occupied Jerusalem for two weeks.
Diyab was subjected to investigation in al-Qasheleh detention center in the city for seven continuous hours. She was arrested on Thursday at Bab al-Amoud gate while heading to al-Aqsa Mosque.
Diyab told SAFA news agency that an Israeli officer insulted and cursed her during her interrogation. The officer also threatened to accuse her of “posing a threat to Israel”.
The investigation focused on her writings and journalism work with the Lebanese newspaper al-Bina she pointed out.
