The Israeli occupation police on Monday set up a makeshift checkpoint at the main entrance to Salfit city near the northern side of al-Rawis area.
According to eyewitnesses police forces intercepted Palestinian vehicles and checked their licenses and other personal documents.
The checkpoint caused have traffic jams and forced many driver to use alternative routes.
