Israeli police Thursday evening put an end to an extensive investigation with Benjamin Netanyahu Israel’s prime minister on suspicion of illegally accepting valuable gifts from prominent businessmen.
According to Israeli news media the interrogation lasted for five hours in Netanyahu’s official residence in Occupied Jerusalem and questioned him about claims that he received valuable gifts from businessmen for facilitating their business.
This was the second investigation with Netanyahu within two days in the same case and it is expected to be resumed on Sunday.
Netanyahu denied the charges brought against him claiming that there were no evidence on that. He called on his opponents not to talk about his resignation yet.
