The Israeli occupation municipality crews in Jerusalem demolished on Tuesday an apartment in the Sweih neighborhood of Silwan town south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Jerusalemite sources pointed out that the occupation police and the municipality staff raided the neighborhood stormed the al-Abbasi family building and attacked its residents.
The occupation police broke into the apartment of Fadel al-Abbasi in the third floor and forced the family to evacuate in order to implement the demolition order.
Abbasi said that the occupation municipality demolished his home without prior warning.
He pointed out that the Israeli police smashed all the furniture after refusing to give them any time to move the contents of the house.
The apartment’s owner added that it has an area of 60 square meters and four people used to live in it including the child Salah and his brother Muhammad.
Eyewitnesses explained that the occupation police assaulted the residents with severe beating and with pepper spray.
The Israeli police also arrested four young men from the al-Abbasi family according to Firas al-Jibreni the lawyer of Wadi Hilweh Information Center.
