Israeli police detain 2 Palestinians accused of killing settler

Sunday 8-October-2017

Hebrew media sources on Sunday revealed that the Israeli police have arrested two Palestinians from Qabatiya town to the south of Jenin accused of killing an Israeli settler in Kafr Qasim city in the 1948 occupied Palestine.

The Hebrew website “0404” reported that the results of the investigation conducted by the Shin Bet indicate that there could be “nationalistic motives” behind the attack.

The website said that interrogation is ongoing with the detainees whose identities are still kept undisclosed at the order of the competent Israeli authorities.

The Israeli police have earlier announced that a 70-year-old settler who is a resident of Elkana settlement illegally built near Salfit in the West Bank was found dead inside his coal shop in Kafr Qasim city with “signs of violence” on his body.
