The Israeli occupation police on Tuesday detained an Aqsa Mosque guard and three kids during their presence at the Mosque in the Old City of Jerusalem.
According to local sources police officers detained and assaulted Aqsa guard Fadi Alyan after he left the Mosque through its Hitta Gate.
Police forces with dogs also broke into and ransacked Alyan’s home in Issawiya district.
Meanwhile police officers detained three Palestinian kids near the Aqsa Mosque’s Dome of the Rock at the pretext of holding a Palestinian flag.
Local sources also said that the Israeli police threatened a number of Aqsa guards with arrest if they worked on the night shift at the Mosque without their permission.
