The Israeli occupation police on Wednesday evening detained two Palestinian young men from the east Jerusalem district of Issawiya.
Asra Media Office said that Louay Ashraf and Ahmed Haitham residents of Issawiya were detained after they went to a police station in response to summonses.
Police forces already stormed the young men’s homes and made threats to pressure their families to convince them to turn themselves in.
Recently the Israeli police started a renewed arrest campaign in Issawiya detaining a large number of teenagers and young men.
For more than a year the Israeli police have been waging a frenzied suppressive campaign against Issawiya residents detaining or jailing hundreds of them including minors issuing traffic tickets for spurious infractions serving house demolition orders blocking roads and committing different acts of provocation and violence.
