The Israeli occupation police kidnaped senior Fatah official Shadi Matwar from Beit Hanina town northeast of Jerusalem.
According to local sources police forces stormed Matwar’s house in Beit Hanina and kidnaped him.
He had been arrested and exposed to repressive measures several times before. In last July the Israeli army extended a ban on his entry to the West Bank for an additional six months.
It was the fourth time he was denied travel to the West Bank at the pretext that his freedom of movement poses a threat to Israel’s security.
Matwar is also banned from communicating directly and indirectly with a number of Fatah leaders.
