Israeli police kidnap Palestinian banish five others from Aqsa Mosque

The Israeli occupation police on Wednesday evening kidnaped a Jerusalemite young man from the Old City summoned another for interrogation and issued orders banning other citizens from entering the Aqsa Mosque for different periods.

According to local sources the Israeli police in the holy city kidnaped Mohamed Najeeb a young man from the Old City of Jerusalem and summoned another called Jameel al-Abbasi a resident of Ras al-Amud neighborhood in Silwan for interrogation at al-Qishleh detention center.

The police also banished two pro-Aqsa female activists from the Aqsa Mosque for four months. The women are an elderly woman called Nahida Abu Shaqra the sister of Sheikh Ra’ed Salah and a young girl called Samah Mahameed both from Umm al-Fahm city in the 1948 occupied lands.

Three Jerusalemite young men identified as Jameel Issa Husam Iyad and Areen al-Za’aneen also received police orders banning their entry to the Aqsa Mosque for one week. Their entry ban orders will be renewed in one week the police told them.

A court hearing for four Jerusalemite teenagers was also postponed until next Wednesday. The teens are Yousef Abdeen Ihab Sakkafi Nour Ghaith and Mohamed Shuweiki residents of al-Thawri neighborhood in Silwan district.

Meanwhile two Jerusalemite young men Samer Obeid and Waseem Obeid were released after detaining them for several days.
