The Israeli occupation police on Friday kidnaped five Palestinian citizens in Jerusalem and attacked other citizens with tear gas in Silwan district.
According to local sources police forces kidnaped two Jerusalemite young men following the Friday prayer at the Aqsa Mosque.
The detainees were identified as Mohamed Munder and Mohamed Ahmed from Issawiya district.
Police officers also kidnaped a 17-year-old boy called Ahmed Abdul-Hafid from a street in Issawiya.
Other young men identified as Laith Barakat and Ahmed Barakat from Nabi Samwil village in the northwest of Jerusalem were taken prisoners at the Israeli Jeep checkpoint.
Nabi Samwil village is completely isolated from Jerusalem and the West Bank and only its residents can leave or enter it through the Jeep checkpoint.
In another incident police forces stormed in the evening ad-Daher neighborhood in Issawiya district and clashed with local youths. Several citizens suffered from their exposure to tear gas during the events.
