The Israeli occupation police detained on Wednesday afternoon six Muslim worshipers during their presence at the Aqsa Mosque in the holy city.
According to local sources police officers kidnaped a Palestinian girl from the Aqsa Mosque’s al-Asbat Gate and three other male citizens from its courtyards.
Two Palestinian women were also taken prisoners by police officers as they were leaving the Aqsa Mosque.
Since yesterday Muslim worshipers have been exposed to different police restrictions preventing their entry to their Aqsa Mosque or their presence in its courtyards.
Hundreds of Jewish desecrated the Aqsa Mosque yesterday and today under tight police guard to mark the Yom Kippur holiday.
461 of them defiled the holy site today during morning and afternoon tours.
