The Israeli occupation police on Thursday evening kidnaped two Jerusalemite young men from Issawiya district.
According to local sources police stormed Issawiya and kidnaped a young man called Ashraf al-Masry.
Eyewitnesses said that Masry was detained after he asked the police officer who stopped him to identify himself.
Another young man identified as Mohamed Abul-Hems was also taken prisoner following a police raid on his house in Issawiya.
For long months the Israeli police have unreasonably stepped up their activities in Issawiya and other areas of east Jerusalem and employed excessive force against the local residents undermining stability and stoking tensions in the holy city.
