The Israeli occupation police on Wednesday evening kidnaped two Jerusalemite young men from a neighborhood in east Jerusalem.
According to local sources police officers stormed al-Thuri neighborhood and physically assaulted two young men identified as Laith Assi and Ibrahim Siyam before rounding them up.
Police forces also embarked on issuing fines against a number of Palestinian citizens in the neighborhood.
Earlier on the same day the Israeli police issued decisions banning three Jerusalemite citizens from entering the Aqsa Mosque for different periods.
Radwan Amr director of the Aqsa Mosque’s manuscripts office and Mohamed al-Salihi a Mosque guard reportedly received police orders banning their entry to the Islamic holy site for one week.
Areen al-Za’anin deputy secretary of the Fatah Movement’s organizing committee also received a police order prohibiting his entry to Aqsa for six months.
