Israeli police mobilized in Occupied Jerusalem on the eve of Shavuot

Israeli police were mobilized on Tuesday in the Old City of Occupied Jerusalem in order to facilitate Jewish settlers’ access to al-Buraq Wall to mark the Shavuot Jewish holiday which falls on Wednesday May 31.

Israeli police said in a statement on Tuesday that celebrations are going to be held at al-Buraq Wall on the eve of the Shavuot in coincidence with the al-Tarawih Prayers at al-Aqsa Mosque.

The police also announced its intention to escalate its security measures against Palestinians who enter Occupied Jerusalem without official permits and against those who help them find transport and accommodation services.
