The Israeli occupation police escorting a municipal crew stormed on Sunday morning the east Jerusalem district of Silwan south of the Aqsa Mosque.
According to local sources employees from the Israeli municipality escorted by police officers stormed Karam ash-Sheikh neighborhood in Silwan and spread in its streets with no known reason.
There are about 7000 Jerusalemite citizens in Silwan threatened with eviction from their homes to make way for Jewish settlers.
58500 Jerusalemite citizens live in 12 neighborhoods in Silwan where there are also 78 illegal settler outposts.
