The Israeli police suppressed on Friday a march rejecting settlement activity in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Occupied Jerusalem.
Jerusalemite sources reported that the occupation police quelled a march in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem and attacked the demonstrators.
The marchers gathered in front of a house seized by settlers in the neighborhood and chanted slogans denouncing the racist policies of the occupation.
Settlers tried to disturb the participating demonstrators by playing loud music.
On Thursday several neighborhoods in Jerusalem witnessed violent clashes in response to settlers’ attempts to carry out attacks against Palestinians and storm the Bab al-Amud area.
