The Israeli police late on Monday raided several Palestinian homes in Occupied Jerusalem.
Eyewitnesses said that Israeli police and intelligence officers broke into the house of the Palestinian citizen Samer Abu Reyala in al-Isawiya village in Jerusalem and wreaked havoc on it.
The Israeli police forced Abu Reyala’s wife and children out of the house in the cold weather during the raid.
According to the witnesses the house was violently searched and Abu Reyala was handed an order to appear before the Israeli Intelligence Service for interrogation on Tuesday.
Meanwhile the Israeli police raided the house of the Palestinian citizen Sha’ban al-Atrash in Anata town and searched it.
A large-scale search campaign targeting Palestinian vehicles was launched at the same time in Abu Tayeh neighborhood in Silwan town.
Local residents said that the Israeli police forces deployed in large numbers in the streets and forced shop owners to close their stores.
