Israeli police arrested four Jerusalemites on Thursday evening including a Fatah official bringing the number of Jerusalemites arrested since the start of the holy month of Ramadan a week ago to more than 40.
The detainees included Ahmed al-Ghoul the secretary of the Fatah Movement in Occupied Jerusalem’s suburb of Silwan local sources reported.
The Wadi Hilweh Information Center said in a statement earlier Thursday that the Israeli occupation police had rounded up 38 Palestinian youths in Jerusalem since the start of Ramadan. Today’s arrests brings the number to 42.
