Violent clashes flared up on Tuesday when Israeli police forces raided and sealed off Obeid neighborhood in al-Isawiya town in Jerusalem.
Local sources said that fierce confrontations broke out between the Israeli police and angry Palestinian youths.
At least three Palestinians were injured after being beaten by the Israeli police.
Al-Isawiya has recently seen a rise in Israeli police attacks and arbitrary arrest campaigns which are usually confronted by local residents with stone and Molotov cocktail throwing.
