The Israeli occupation police on Monday evening stormed Jabel Mukaber neighborhood in east Jerusalem and kidnaped two young brothers from their home following an alleged stabbing attempt in the area.
According to local sources a large number of police forces stormed the neighborhood and kidnaped two brothers identified as Riyadh and Akram Basheer.
Earlier police officers opened fire at a young man from the same neighborhood and seriously injured him claiming he tried to carry out a stabbing attack.
Palestinian lawyer Mohamed Mahmoud identified the young man as Ridwan Basheer.
Eyewitnesses belied the Israeli claim that the young man tried to stab police officers and affirmed that police officers shot him at a checkpoint near the neighborhood following an altercation with him.
