Israeli police along with municipality teams on Monday broke into a commercial shop in al-Jawz neighborhood in Occupied Jerusalem. The police threatened the owner to raze parts of his shop under the claim of lacking a construction permit.
Mustafa Abu Zahra the owner told Quds Press that the police gave him until the evening to dismantle the external part of his shop. Otherwise it will be razed on his expense.
A report by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) showed that Israeli occupation forces demolished 1094 Palestinian structures in 2016 for alleged lack of construction permits.
