Israeli police on Wednesday summoned Palestinian activists at al-Aqsa Mosque Khadija Khweis and Hanadi al-Halawani for interrogation.
Local sources reported that activists Khweis and al-Halawani were handed orders to appear before the Israel Intelligence Service for interrogation.
Al-Halawani who is also a teacher was handed another order banning her from leaving Jerusalem for a while.
Khweis and al-Halawani are two of the most prominent women activists at al-Aqsa Mosque who have been repeatedly subjected to home raids detention assault and expulsion from the Mosque and Jerusalem City.
