Israeli police teargas Jerusalemites in Issawiya and Izzariya

Dozens of Palestinian citizens on Saturday evening suffered from their exposure to tear gas when Israeli police forces attacked Palestinian youths and homes in Issawiya district and Izzariya town in Occupied Jerusalem.

According to local sources many young men suffered from inhaling tear gas when a large number of police forces stormed Issawiya streets and attacked them.

Police forces also showered Palestinian homes with tear gas and quelled a march organized in support of Jerusalem and its people in Izzariya town. Some citizens inside their homes reportedly suffered from their exposure to tear gas.

Meanwhile the Israeli occupation police clashed with Palestinian young men and rounded up a number of them in different areas of Jerusalem and the West Bank.

14 Palestinians suffered injuries and received medical assistance from ambulance crews during night clashes with police forces in the Old City and its vicinity especially in Bab al-Amud area near the Aqsa Mosque.

A young man identified as Amer Awaisat was reportedly assaulted and kidnaped by police officers at night during his presence near the Aqsa Mosque.

Other six Jerusalemite citizens were also arrested during renewed police violence in the holy city according Asra Media Office.

Police forces also stormed Hizma town in the northeast of Jerusalem and clashed with local youths.

In a separate incident footage circulated on social media showed extremist Jewish settlers attacking Palestinian cars in Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem.

In the West Bank Israeli forces kidnaped overnight a young man identified as Muawiya Antari from Nablus and two others from Bethlehem.

Later three young men suffered bullet injuries and many others had tear gas injuries during dawn clashes on Sunday with Israeli soldiers in al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya village in the south of Nablus.

Similar overnight clashes with Israeli forces happened in different areas of the West Bank.
