An Israeli policeman was stabbed on Friday in the Old City of Occupied Jerusalem the Israeli TV7 channel reported.
It added that the Palestinian youth who carried out the stabbing attack was shot and moderately wounded before arresting him.
A state of high alert was declared in the Old City and reinforcements were sent to the area while all gates to the Aqsa Mosque were closed by the occupation police.
