Israeli prison guards on Tuesday arrested the mother of the Palestinian prisoner Mohammed al-Bodon when she arrived at Raymond jail to visit her son.
According to local sources the Israeli occupation forces arrested al-Bodon in 2008 after he was shot in the back with a dumdum bullet near Gilo settlement in Bethlehem.
Al-Bodon was transferred to Hadassah Hospital and stayed there for several months. His left kidney was removed and parts of his intestines and stomach were replaced with plastic ones.
A resident of Tuqu’ town east of Bethlehem al-Bodon 29 was sentenced to life imprisonment and 14 additional years.
