Palestinian activist Khadija Khuwais was violently attacked and beaten by Israeli security guards stationed at the entrance to Kaplan Hospital.
Khuwais was trying to visit the prisoner Miqdad Al-Qawasmeh who is held in the Israeli hospital due to his deteriorating health condition as he continues a hunger strike for the 100th day.
Khuwais said that the security guard deliberately lowered the iron barrier on her head injuring her head forehead and nose.
Palestinian activists and institutions have earlier called for intensifying solidarity visits to Palestinian prisoners who wage hunger strike in protest against their illegal administrative detention.
Muthanna al-Qawasmi Miqdad’s brother earlier affirmed that his brother suffers from blood poisoning and serious health deterioration and faces death at any moment.
