Israeli settler involved in deadly attack against Dawabshas released

Thursday 12-July-2018

An Israeli court decided on Thursday to release the settler who planned the arson attack on the Dawabsha family in Duma village near Nablus in 2015 killing three people including a baby.

According to the court verdict the settler will be released from jail and transferred to house arrest.

The deadly arson attack on the Dawabsha home occurred on the 31st July 2015 and led to the death of the toddler Ali Dawabsha and his parents Raham and Saad while the 5-year-old child Ahmad suffered serious burns but survived the crime.

Speaking with the PIC Saad’s brother Nasr strongly condemned the court rule which he said is as excruciating as the fatal arson attack.

“This is an oppressive verdict. Israel’s judiciary is a partner in the crime” he stated. “All settler crimes have been perpetrated under its cover”.
