Israeli settlers at noontime Tuesday attacked a Palestinian citizen in al-Khalil’s Old City in the southern occupied West Bank.
A PIC news correspondent said a horde of extremist Israeli settlers flocked to Beit Romano community in al-Khalil and heavily beat the young man Hasan al-Shaloudi aged 24 in al-Kazazeen neighborhood in the Old City.
Al-Shaloudi was injured in his head and left bleeding on the ground. He was transferred by a Palestinian ambulance to a local hospital for urgent treatment.
Israel’s settler terrorism across the occupied West Bank has been frequently reported by local activists who said such assaults make part of Israeli attempts to force the Palestinians out of the area.
