Israeli settlers on Wednesday attacked Palestinian students on their way home from school in al-Salaymeh neighborhood in the Old City of al-Khalil in the southern occupied West Bank.
According to eye-witnesses Palestinian schoolchildren were verbally and physically assaulted by Israeli settlers in al-Salaymeh neighborhood.
Assaults by Israeli settlers against Palestinian children and civilians have been on the rise in the occupied West Bank. Such attacks are often carried out in the presence of Israeli soldiers and police.
