Israeli settlers on Tuesday attempted to kidnap two Palestinian children after assaulting their family in Turmus Ayya village north of Ramallah City.
Tareq al-Refa’i said that when he accompanied his father in low along with his two sons Adam and Noah to visit a friend’s grave in the village’s cemetery a group of Israeli settlers on motorbikes attacked them.
“They beat us with rifle butts. We resisted. My father in law pushed one of them and they threatened to shoot at us. They later smashed our car’s windows and attempted to kidnap my sons but we managed to escape. They chased us for a while before they gave up and withdrew” al-Refa’i said.
