TULKAREM (PIC)– PA agriculture minister Dr. Mohammed Al-Agha strongly condemned Israeli settlers’ aggressions on Palestinian farms and plantations including burning hundreds of dunums (1 dunum = 1000 sq. meters) of Palestinian farms in Tulkarm district.
He described the Israeli hostilities as “serious escalation” that aims at subjugating the Palestinian people to the Israeli dictates and plans to turn life of Palestinian farmers into “hell” after losing their only source of income.
The minister urged international and local human rights legal and concerned agencies and institutions to raise their voice high in condemning “Israel’s state terrorism” and savage practices that violate international laws and statutes.
More than 230 dunums of Palestinian farms were deliberately torched at the hands of Israeli settlers under the full protection of tens of IOF soldiers.
Israel is seizing hundreds of millions of dollars of PA tax revenue money and conspired with its main ally the USA in leading wing-clipping economic sanctions on the Palestinian people for 15 months.
