Israeli settlers uprooted at daybreak Thursday 350 grapevines on Palestinian land in al-Khader town south of Bethlehem.
According to local activist Hasan Brijiyeh Israeli settlers cut down 350 vines planted several years ago on a land owned by Islam Jaber using a wood-cutting saw.
He said the settlers have been increasingly targeting Palestinian crops in the area particularly with the advent of the vine-picking season.
Vine crops represent 12% of harvest reaped across the occupied Palestinian territories. Such crops are often stolen or damaged by Israeli settlers inflicting heavy losses on local Palestinian farmers.
