A group of Israeli settlers at dawn Friday attacked Fara’ata village near Qalqilya spray-painted racist graffiti on Palestinian homes’ walls and set fire to a number of cars.
Head of Fara’ata’s village council Abed al-Mun’em Shana’a said that two Palestinian citizens woke up at daybreak Friday to find that their cars had been burned by Israeli settlers.
Shana’a added that racist graffiti threats and insults were spray-painted on the walls of several Palestinian homes.
He said that the attack was not the first of its kind and noted that the Palestinian residents of Fara’ata are constantly attacked and harassed by Israeli settlers who want them to leave the area.
About 800000 Jewish settlers live in 503 illegal settler outposts in the West Bank and Jerusalem which cover over 46% of their area and they carry out almost daily attacks on the Palestinians.
