Israeli settlers on Wednesday razed vast tracts of Palestinian land in Einabus village in the West Bank district of Nablus.
Anti-settlement researcher and activist Ghassan Daghlas said that a group of Israeli settlers from Yitzhar Settlement which was built on illegally seized Palestinian land leveled a large area of privately-owned Palestinian land in Einabus.
Meanwhile mayor of the neighboring village of Asira al-Qibliya Hazem Yasin called on Palestinian citizens to perform the next Friday prayer in a Palestinian area threatened with takeover by Israeli settlers.
Yasin said that Asira al-Qibliya’s residents were shocked that an Israeli settler had placed a mobile home on a land in Khillet al-Dalia area in preparation for seizing it and turning it into an outpost.
He stressed that the residents of Asira al-Qabliya will protest on Friday and not allow this to happen.
