Dozens of Israeli settlers stormed on Tuesday morning al-Karmel Park in al-Khalil’s southern town of Yatta sparking terror in the area.
Coordinator for the local anti-settlement committee Rateb al-Jabour said dozens of Israelis residing in illegal settlement outposts built on Palestinian land east of Yatta broke into the park and jumped into the local swimming pool as they chanted racist slogans.
At the same time the Israeli occupation forces set up checkpoints across the main roads leading to Palestinian villages east of Yatta and prevented Palestinian civilians from reaching their homes and lands.
