Israeli settlers on Wednesday stormed Palestinian groves and stole olives in Deir al-Hatab village east of Nablus City.

Anti-settlement activist Ghassan Daghlas said that the Palestinian farmers of Deir al-Hatab told him Israeli settlers destroyed dozens of olive trees and stole their crops.

He noted that settler attacks on the Palestinian citizens and their farmlands in the West Bank have been stepped up during the olive season.

A group of Israeli settlers on Sunday attacked Palestinian farmers in Deir Sharaf village west of Nablus City and stole a large amount of olives.

Anti-settlement activist Ghassan Daghlas said that scores of Israeli settlers chased Palestinian farmers in their own lands and stole a large amount of olives that they were planning to harvest for the annual olive season.

Israeli settlers on a regular basis attack the Palestinian farmers in their lands in the West Bank steal their crops and destroy their trees and they are almost never prosecuted by the Israeli authorities.

A group of Israeli settlers on Saturday stole olive crops from 700 olive trees in Palestinian villages to the east of Nablus city.

Anti-settlement activist in the northern West Bank Ghassan Daghlas said that the settlers cut down the branches of a number of trees and stole the harvest of more than 420 olive trees near Itamar settlement in Palestinian lands whose owners were allowed access to on Saturday for the first time in years.

Daghlas added that another group of settlers stole olives from 280 trees in Palestinian lands located in Azmout village near Elon Moreh settlement.

He affirmed that settlers’ failure in intimidating Palestinian farmers to force them to leave their lands drove them to steal their olive harvest noting that the thefts occur under the very eye of the Israeli soldiers constantly stationed in the surrounding observation towers.
