Israeli settlers uproot 150 olive trees from Palestinian lands

RAMALLAH (PIC)– Palestinian farmers from the village of Magir in Ramallah have charged that extremist Israeli settlers uprooted 150 olive trees during the last few days.

The farmers said that the settlers who came from Novi Yarden settlement outpost deliberately sabotaged and uprooted olive trees in their lands on Monday.

Confrontations had taken place last week between the villagers and a group of settlers who tried to attack Palestinian agricultural lands near the settlement.

In another development different Israeli media outlets reported that the Israeli occupation forces (IOF)kidnapped Tuesday evening and at dawn Wednesday six Palestinian citizens from West Bank cities and towns.

Local sources in Jenin affirmed that among the Palestinian citizens kidnapped Wednesday was Hamas member Imad Kana’an.

Other local sources reported on the same day that a large number of IOF troops raided and ransacked Palestinian homes in different West Bank areas before kidnapping nine citizens.

In another context Al-Qassam Brigades the armed wing of Hamas declared today the death of one of its fighters called Amer Al-Baleshi during a Jihad mission in Rafah city.
