The Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday chopped up hundreds of Palestinian-owned olive trees in the Jordan Valley and al-Khalil.
Local sources said that several Israeli bulldozers destroyed about 450 olive trees in Bardala village in the Jordan Valley.
Meanwhile in al-Khalil a group of Israeli settlers uprooted 23 olive seedlings planted by the Palestinian citizen Jumaa Rabi near Yatta town.
Activist Rateb Jabour said that such attacks have been stepped up in recent years in favor of new settlement projects at the expense of Palestinian lands.
Jabour called on concerned national and international organizations to intervene and put an end to these government-backed practices.
