The Israeli occupation forces at daybreak Monday smashed the memorial statue of the slain Palestinian girl Bayan Asseila in the southern West Bank city of al-Khalil.
According to eye-witnesses the Israeli soldiers destroyed Asseila’s memorial monument and removed the debris from the scene.
16-year-old Bayan Asseila was cold-bloodedly shot and killed by the Israeli army near a checkpoint set up in al-Khalil city on allegations that she carried out an anti-occupation stabbing near the Ibrahimi Mosque on October 17 2015. An Israeli soldier was allegedly wounded in the stabbing.
