An Israeli army special unit at dawn Tuesday assassinated a Palestinian young man in al-Bireh City near Ramallah in the occupied West Bank.
According to local sources plain-clothes soldiers infiltrated into Umm ash-Sharayet neighborhood in al-Bireh City and opened fire at the young man killing him immediately.
Eyewitnesses identified the young man as Ahmed Jamil al-Fahed from al-Am’ari Refugee Camp and said that he bled to death in a street of the neighborhood after an undercover unit shot him at point-blank range.
The martyr’s body was evacuated aboard an ambulance to Palestine Hospital in Ramallah City.
