Israeli tight restrictions imposed in O. J’lem

The Israeli police have tightened late Friday its military restrictions in occupied Jerusalem following the anti-occupation attack which left three Palestinians killed.

Israeli police said in a statement on Friday night that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had approved a decision to rescind all permits issued for Palestinians to enter Israel during the holy month of Ramadan except on Friday.

The statement highlighted that the decision was made after Netanyahu consulted with Israel’s Minister of Public Security Gilad Erdan chief of Israeli police Roni al-Sheikh and other senior Israeli officials.

Israeli army also closed Qalandia checkpoint north of the occupied city restricting the locals’ movement in both directions.

Earlier on Friday three Palestinians were shot dead by Israeli soldiers after they carried out a dual anti-occupation attack in Occupied Jerusalem. An Israeli policewoman was killed and six Israelis were injured in the attack.
