Israeli warplanes raid Egyptian-Palestinian borders

RAFAH (PIC)– Israeli warplanes at dawn Wednesday raided a number of targets in the Egyptian-Palestinian border area south of Rafah city south of the Gaza Strip local sources reported.

Adel Zu’rub the spokesman for the crossings and borders told the PIC that the warplanes launched two air raids in the early morning hours targeting what the Israeli occupation forces call tunnels.

He noted that the same area was the target of previous raids which caused more devastation and displaced hundreds of people.

An Israeli aerial raid late on Tuesday northwest of Gaza city wounded three citizens.

The IOF spokesman claimed that the raid targeted a group of fighters who were firing rockets from northern Gaza.

IOF troops in the West Bank at dawn Wednesday stormed the village of Beit Ummar in Al-Khalil district and kidnapped 15 civilians after searching their homes.

Seven other Palestinians were kidnapped at the hands of those soldiers in Badars village west of Ramallah.

The IOF soldiers on Tuesday rounded up seven Palestinians in Tulkarem and Ramallah districts and summoned two others in Bethlehem to the intelligence office in Etzion after breaking into their homes.
