Moroccan activists on Thursday kicked off Israeli delegates from the International Dates Fair.
The move was carried out in response to rallies held in the country in protest at the participation of an Israeli company in the event.
Activists from the BDS campaign Morocco’s Anti-Normalization Observatory and the National Action Group for Palestine held protests inside and outside of the international dates fair in Erfoud east of Morocco.
The protests culminated in the closure of the Israeli company’s showroom inside the fair.
Israel’s Netafim Company was expelled from the fair three days after the event had kicked off following protests by anti-normalization activists.
