Israeli military court of Ofer on Monday extended the administrative detention of Palestinian MP Hasan Yousef for another three months for the fourth consecutive time.

Yousef’s son Oais said that his father 62 served 15 months under the illegal administrative detention before the new extension and that he suffers from health problems and needs constant medical care.

MP Yousef a senior Hamas official was kidnapped from his home in Beitunia town west of Ramallah by Israeli soldiers on October 20 2015. He is now imprisoned in the military jail of Ofer west of Ramallah. He was arrested several times and served over 21 years in Israeli jails.

In a similar context the lawyer of Palestinian Prisoner Society Ahmad Safiyeh said that he was able on Monday to get three nonrenewable decisions of sentence reduction for three administrative prisoners: Nadeem Ekhlayil Mohammad Jawarish and Bassam Asmar.

RAMALLAH (PIC)– The Israeli prison authority on Friday extended the administrative detention of Palestinian lawmaker Hasan Yousef for another six months according to Quds Press.

Yousef’s son Oais said that his father received the extension to his administrative detention for the second consecutive time pointing out that his father suffers from health problems and needs constant medical care.

For its part the Palestinian Prisoners Center for Studies said that MP Yousef started a hunger strike in solidarity with isolated hunger striking prisoner Shukri Khawaja and other hunger strikers and refused to take his daily medication.

Prisoner Khawaja from Ni’lin town in Ramallah has been on hunger strike since April 10 in protest at his detention in an isolation cell for 16 months.
