Relatives of Palestinian prisoners and activists in the West Bank city of Jenin affirmed on Friday that they would not leave the hunger-striking prisoners alone in their battle against the injustice inflicted upon them by Israeli jailers.
This came in speeches delivered in a sit-in tent following the Friday prayer in Jenin city.
Citizens and relatives of prisoners marched from the Grand Mosque of Jenin to the tent carrying placards and banners demanding the Red Cross and all concerned international institutions to assume their responsibilities towards the hunger strikers in Israeli jails.
One day after his release senior Hamas official Wasfi Qabha from Jenin stressed the need to strongly support the prisoners in their heroic hunger strike battle for their rights.
