Some relatives of prisoners and ex-detainees started on Friday night a hunger strike in solidarity with the hunger strikers in Israeli jails and in protest at the international community’s passivity towards their issue.
Local sources told the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that two brothers of prisoners Adib al-Qit and Amjad Khuzaima as well as the ex-detainees Salah Abul Jahim and Shadi al-Darbi went on open-ended hunger strike inside the sit-in tent in Jenin city.
The sources added that other citizens declared their intention to join the hunger strike in the tent.
