Israeli Central Court in Occupied Jerusalem sentenced Al-Aqsa Mosque guard Fadi Elyan to three years’ imprisonment on Thursday.
Ali Elyan Fadi’s father told Quds Press “Everything is expected from Israel.”
He added “The court sentenced Fadi to six months’ suspended sentence apart from three years’ imprisonment and charged him with involvement in acts of resistance.”
On 21 December 2021 the Israeli police arrested Fadi Elyan after breaking into his home searching it and tampering with its contents.
Elyan a father of four children had been arrested for two years banished from the Al-Aqsa Mosque on numerous occasions and the occupation municipality razed his house and those of his father and two brothers in the village of Al-Issawiyah.
